Vampirates

As you might have twiged by now Saturday 29
September at 11.30, I was at the Vampirates show by
the author, Justin Somper. Everyone who has seen me
since has noted I loved it. I hope I did not steal
the show, as soon as I walked in the photographer
wanted photos of me dressed up. I did notice from the
pictures she took for me that the sword hanging from
the tiara had slipped and my spider ear cuff had
fallen off. During the show he asked if any one knew
who one of the characters was - Cheng Li, I must have
been the only one to put up my hand. Then he asked me
to describe her, I must have gone the same shade as
my wig. But I feel as if I did a fair job, it is not
as if I have not been reading and trying to describe
the characters for the last three weeks or anything
like that. Later after signing books he mentioned to
someone that the fan site I made had only been up
since the beginning of September. On the train ride
home, it sank it that he must have really looked at
the site, and not given it a cursory glance, I felt
so chuffed. He very kindly signed my books and one
for my kids school. I hope everyone enjoyed the day
as much as me, I tried to play the Ma Kettle part and
offer Justin Somper a drink at the end. Chris wants
me to dress up again on Wednesday so he can do a page
on this website called how nuts is your mum.
