Frozen Chips - Meadows in Bromley, about 1989.
Mother had the chance of going to France with the Dulwich Renal Unit on a Saturday. I got chance to feed the family for lunch. I am not well known for reading things correctly and I put the chips in the oven for the correct amount of time (but in a bowl). I put everything on the table and we discovered only the top layer were cooked and the rest were frozen. My Father read the instructions on the back of the packet and the second attempt were not quite so cold.
